Import / Export
Exports use the current project if none is selected.

Import merges data from a JSON file into your current project or creates a new project. Export downloads the current (or another) project as JSON or CSV. JSON includes project settings (locks), milestones, and row theme colors.

What gets exported
  • JSON export: Tasks & subtasks, dependencies, timeline fields, progress fields, assignments, team list, roles, work calendar, and person hours.
  • CSV export: Flat task list (Task Name, Assigned, Start, Finish, Duration, Hours, Status, %). Subtasks are included as rows.
Import options
  • Overwrite: Replace the selected project with the file contents.
  • Add only: Keep existing tasks and add missing tasks from the file.
  • Custom: Choose tasks, timeline, progress, delete missing, settings, and resources.
  • Project settings: Schedule pattern, roles, project name, and person hours.
  • Resources: Team members and per-person hours.
  • Progress scope: Limit progress updates to selected people when importing.
